There was an amazing American Painter called Maxfield Parrish who had a wonderful way with light. Now in no way does this photo come anywhere near the talent of Parrish for a second but the lighting on this particular morning just brought back memories of some of the man's wonderful work.

beautiful. The light is great. I like the trees on the bottom left as well for some reason.

It's amazing - perfect capture of the mellow, golden, clear light you only get in late fall and in winter.

It was taken on the side of a hill overlooking the village of Chinley in the High Peak area of Derbyshire, England.
