Renaissance view 1

A idea I came up with a few weeks ago but the making of it took a while. The headband is made from sterling silver and features an elasticated band at the back to facilitate a comfortable fit but if that breaks there is a longer chain drop so the whole thing will drop down like a necklace and not be lost.

The design features floret accents fashioned from small Byzantine weave chain with in this particular case, some gold fill links and faceted Carnelian stones.
